Lemon, coconut and raspberry sour cream cake.

If you don't already have a 

delicious lemon cake recipe, 

try this one.

It is rich, moist and

incredibly tangy.

Not to mention easy to whip up!

The best thing about this recipe is the

tangy syrup that when poured 

over the warm cake, 

soaks in

making it sweet and

morish.

I served it with greek

natural yogurt.

Just the thing for an

afternoon with visitors.

baking gene from 

my mum, 

and her 

from her mum.  

Both very talented in

making up, adapting

and changing recipes 

 to make something

 different and irresistibly

delicious.

These heavenly delights are the creation of 

Littlesweet baking, a one woman show

whipping up a storm in her kitchen

south of the river, Perth.

These cookies have been affectionately named 

oFreos

and are a decadent and all natural 

take on the famed Oreo cookie. 

Megan was kind enough to share that she

 was inspired by the recipe found @

smittenkitchen

Megan also makes mouth watering, made-to-order cakes.

I thought this would be perfect 

for a unique and well portioned

birthday cake.

Cups and cakes

These sweet cupcakes are beautifully displayed in the front 

of the cake cabinet at my local
Fresh Provisions supermarket 

 and are a favourite 

in our house on special occasions.

The delicate cups they sit in,
hold a very special place in our family's hearts.

A prize in a Perth swim through,
dad won them as a strapping talented lad in his late teens.

As children we only ever drooled over them from 

behind glass and I remember only once 

 drinking from them - (a set of 6,yellow was always my favourite).

I feel I am fully grown up, given the trust to photograph them.
